Bioweapon : Taking Advantage from IImmunocompromised & Autoimmune Patients
Creating super spreader hosts for SARS-CoV-2.
"Weapons are instruments of fear; they are not a wise man's tools.
He uses them only when he has no choice.
Peace and quiet are dear to his heart.
And victory no cause for rejoicing.
If you rejoice in victory, then you delight in killing;
If you delight in killing, you cannot fulfill yourself." Lao Tzu.
Wars has been as old as human civilization. Many stories have been told and retold from generation to generations, whether it's heroic one or because there is a moral lesson needed to be taught to our next generations. Nevertheless, there's is no such idealistic winning in a war. Both sides suffer damages, and wars have torn apart humans souls and brought up mostly curable outside wounds but, hardly enough for inner souls' wounds.
Weapons used in the conventional wars were lack of simplicity and cost a lot. During World War I, the German Army developed anthrax, glanders, cholera, and a wheat fungus specifically for use as biological weapons. They allegedly spread plague in St. Petersburg, Russia, infected mules with glanders in Mesopotamia, and attempted to do the same with the horses of the French Cavalry. Biological weapons use microorganisms or natural toxins to produce disease in humans, animals or plants. Only sixteen countries plus Taiwan have had or are currently suspected of having biological weapons programs: Canada, China, Cuba, France, Germany, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Japan, Libya, North Korea, Russia, South Africa, Syria, the United Kingdom and the United States.
There is a theory of the origin of SARS-CoV-2 came from a lab leak. It has been more than a year but still no clue at all what the animal host is. From bats to pangolins, from the Hua Nan Seafood Market to the frozen seafood from outside China, have been proposed by WHO. Genetics facts have been written by me from the previous article. Therefore, the lab leak theory is most likely suits what was exactly had happened. Wuhan Institute of Virology in China is the closest place and most suitable source for the origin of this virus, as the outbreaks occured there for the early cases.
If there's an fire near us, surely we look at our nearest surroundings instead of hundred miles away from us.
If it's legitimazed, the next question is what was SARS-CoV-2 invented for. If it was intended designed as a HIV vaccine candidate, why would be some part of pathogens exist in the genomic of S protein. Then the next candidate will be SARS-CoV-2 as biological weapon (bioweapon).
Most weaponized lethal biological agents are intended to be delivered as aerosols, which would cause infections when breathed by the targeted personnel. As a tactical weapon for military use, a significant problem with a bioweapon attack is that it would take days to be effective, and therefore might not immediately stop an opposing force. SARS-CoV-2 has the ability to multiply in a host.
Since this SARS-CoV-2 pandemic started, few scientists had suggested that the immunocompromised patients have challenged this virus given it a bigger chance to mutate. When your immune system fails to respond adequately to infection, it's called an immunodeficiency, and you may be immunocompromised. Immunocompromised patients are sometimes treated with convalescent plasma and with the anti-viral drug remdesivir, which can trigger viral population shifts, shaping the dynamics of SARS-CoV-2 evolution. The first report of persistence and evolution of SARS-CoV-2 in an immunocompromised patient, by Choi and colleagues, not only unveiled a remarkable scenario of accelerated viral evolution, but also showed that infectious virus can be recovered from nasopharyngeal samples for several months.
From Kemp et. al., Babylon etc. al., Baum et. al., Sellers et. al., and Greaney et. al., Y453F are predicted to affect SARS-CoV-2 affinity to ACE-2 receptors or to be potential involved in immune evasion (e.g., ΔH69/ΔV70 and E484K). The emergent and highly concerning SARS-CoV-2 lineage B.1.1.7 (VOC 202012/01), likely originated in the UK, was hypothesized to be a result of virus evolution in a chronically-infected individual (index patient), as revealed by its unusual high genetic divergence (with key amino acid changes predominantly affecting the spike protein).
The opposite of immunocompromised is autoimmune response; that is an overactive immune system that attacks healthy cells as though they were foreign bodies. The percentages rank of adult population with autoimmune disease in this world are US, EU, China, Brazil, Russia, and Japan, respectively (statists.com).
The numbers of Covid-19 cases in this world don't look far different from the autoimmune disease ranks. It won't be a coincidence that country such as US and Brazil have the most patients for SARS-CoV-2.
Designing bioweapon doesn't only look at creating the pathogen itself. The creator also need to look at data of the targets' health. The health of the host may bring the impact degree of the casualties and moreover, to be a host that can spread and worsen the pathogen intended for bioweapon. It's like aiming two targets with a stone or more likely mimics domino effects.
This Covid-19 tragedy has brought uncountable loss and hurts, physically and mentally. Whether it will be confirmed SARS-CoV-2 as a bioweapon or not, this world needs the balm of Gilead, not only for the body but also for the conscience of the worlds' leaders. The fate of this world as one living-together environment should be considered greatly and living it in a harmonious way.
